You Dye, We Dye, We all have Fun with Tie-Dye

Today we got together with several friends and enjoyed the morning being creative and turning plain white shirts, pillowcases and socks into lovely works of wearable art!

We started with lots and lots of rubber bands - 3 packs worth - and tied our garments up.

After tying everything up, we then soaked them in the dye solution. The children were very creative with the different color combinations they chose.

Here are some of the final products that they created.

Caroline and her pillowcase in her new school colors! Aiden's blue and green shirt.

Jack's blue, yellow and green pillowcase.

Loads of fun and an inexpensive way to create some fun lasting (until they grow out of the clothes!) memories
